Linmar Leadership.
We assist individuals with psychiatric disabilities to increase their success and satisfaction in the roles and environments of their choice. Using a strength-based approach, participants are invited to explore the roles that are important to them in the living, learning, working, and socializing environments.
We believe that healing is a collaborative endeavor that is made possible by having a safe space to be ourselves, to find friends, family and peers who know and understand our experiences; it’s nurtured when our voices are heard, and we get to speak our stories of courage and resilience and learn to manage our emotions. This reflects our commitment to providing meaningful support to help our clients find success in communities of their own choice.
Linmar Leadership offers a comprehensive range of community integration services throughout Baltimore City, Annapolis and the surrounding counties. In 2020, Linmar Leadership was founded by Melissa Ringgold—owner and Chief People Officer—in response to the growing need for innovative, holistic interventions. The program was designed to support families by integrating a family-centered approach into every aspect of service delivery.

Community Integration Services
Independent Living Skills & Advocacy
Support for youth and families navigating Independent Education Plans (IEPs), including advocacy and skill-building for transitional-age youth preparing for adulthood.
IEP & Transitional Support
Guidance and training for children and parents, especially those with IEPs, to address treatment plans, school-related challenges, family dynamics, and effective student-teacher interaction.
Health Promotion & Wellness Education
Focused training on self-care, including safe sex education and prevention strategies to support youth in maintaining physical and emotional well-being.
Access to Resources & Entitlements
Ensuring that parents, youth, and children with special needs are informed about and able to access educational supports, career development opportunities, and other essential benefits.
Communication Skill-Building
Strengthening communication between parents and teachers, and improving interactions among children, parents, and other supportive adults.

Linmar Leadership is a minority, women-owned business that focuses primarily on supporting the most vulnerable clients in our community, with the ultimate goal of “Healing tomorrow’s leaders, today.” Linmar Leadership strives to assist individuals with psychiatric disabilities to increase their success and satisfaction in the roles and environments of their choice. Using a strength-based approach, participants are invited to explore the roles that are important to them in the living, learning, working, and socializing environments. Their team is goal-oriented and results-driven working diligently with clients’ depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, chronic mental illness, personality disorders, behavior challenges and relationship struggles. Provided services are person-centered and designed to assist with managing, lowering, and/or eliminating symptoms related to psychological conditions.
